The Exchange Monitor is a database-driven monitoring tool that queries the database each hour for unprocessed events within the Exchange integration (OnBoard for Exchange). If the Exchange Monitor finds that there are more than the set acceptable number of unprocessed events (currently, 50 in the previous hour), a notification email is sent to a designated person so that he can investigate the cause of the unprocessed events.
Q: Can the number of unprocessed events be configured by a customer?
A: Currently this number is hard coded in the stored procedure and would require a code change to modify it. However, this may become a configurable setting in the next iteration of Exchange Monitor.
Q: Is this automatically installed with OnBoard for Exchange or do customers or account managers need to request it?
A: Exchange Monitor is not currently automatically installed with OnBoard for Exchange.
