Draft Reservation |
Initial starting status for a reservation. This is for new reservations. Ex: If a user is in the process of making a reservation but has not submitted it yet, the reservation will have this status applied. |
Request is Awaiting Decision |
Reservation is awaiting a manual decision from an Approver. Ex: A User has submitted a reservation request to reserve Conference Room and is waiting for approval from an Administrator (or another Asset Approver) on if they may use it or not. |
Awaiting Check In |
Reservation is awaiting Reservation Owner check in. Ex: It is 8:00am and a User has a reservation scheduled at 9:00am, but has not yet checked in. |
Pending - Before Start Time (only for those Assets that do NOT require Check In) |
Reservation is active or pending Ex: View a reservation scheduled for the next day on an Asset that does not require check in, this status will be seen. |
Active - After Start Time has Passed (only for those Assets that do NOT require Check In) |
Reservation is active or pending
Ex: View a reservation scheduled for the current time on an Asset that does not require check in, this status will be seen. |
* Analytics: In analytics, "checked-in" is equivalent to Active Pending |
Reservation is active or pending
Ex: View a reservation scheduled for the current time on an Asset that requires check in, this status will be seen.

Request Denied |
Reservation approval was Denied by an Approver Ex: A User has submitted a reservation request to reserve Conference Room, and the request is denied by an Administrator (or another Asset Approver.) |
Reservation Expired |
The reservation has expired. This refers to a reservation that is past the end time and was not checked out of, cancelled, or bumped. Ex: View a reservation from the previous day that was not bumped, checked out of or cancelled. The Reservation status will note “Expired” as the reservation is past it’s end time. (ended naturally) |
Reservation Canceled by Administrator |
The reservation was bumped automatically by Forum. Ex: A reservation was bumped automatically by the Forum |
Reservation Canceled |
The reservation was canceled, by the Reservation owner OR by another user Ex: An Administrator cancelled the reservation manually via the Reservations page in Forum Settings. |
For those Assets the DO require Check In: Reservation is Checked Out |
Reservation was checked out of. Ex: A User has a reservation from 9:00am – 10:00am. The meeting finished early, and the user checks out of the reservation. |
For those Assets that do NOT require Check In: Reservation has Ended |
Reservation was checked out of.
Ex: A User has a reservation from 9:00am – 10:00am. The meeting ends naturally at the end time regardless if the room was still in use.

Reservation Canceled Within Lead Time |
Reservation was canceled within the cancellation lead time. Ex: An Asset has a Cancellation Lead Time policy of 15 minutes. A User has a reservation scheduled for 9:00am but cancels it at 8:15am, which is within the lead time policy. |
Request with Multiple Assets is Awaiting Reservation Decision |
Reservation's parent is awaiting an approval decision. When the parent is approved, the child is put into a pending or awaiting decision status. Ex: A User has created a reservation request which includes catering. This means that they are requesting use of multiple Assets. An Administrator (or other Asset Approver.) will need to approve each of these requests. |
